The new term has now begun and we have empty spaces available for the following classes:
- Boys Qur’ān Hifẓ Programme – 7 spaces available – in-person
The Qur’ān Memorisation (Hifẓ) Programme is a supervised and systematic approach to commiting the entirety of the Qur’ān to memory for boys aged 12 to 18. There are no set limits on how many āyāt are memorised daily, this will be determined between the student and the instructor on an individual basis. Students will be evaluated at set points in the year and milestones set to monitor progress.
- Brothers Qur’ān Hifẓ Programme – 6 spaces available – in-person
The Qur’ān Memorisation (Hifẓ) Programme is a supervised and systematic approach to commiting the entirety of the Qur’ān to memory for brothers aged 18+. This programme constitutes one-on-one reading with a Qārī.
- Boys & Girls Maktab – 6 spaces available – in-person
The Boys and Girls Maktab Programme is a supervised and structured program of study for learning to read the Qur’ān while developing good manners, the basics of belief, how to pray and a number of other beneficial subjects. The programme is designed for all children aged 6 to 12 years old. Upon conclusion, a child should become fluent in reading Arabic, memorised the entirety of the 29th and 30th Ajzā- and developed a good understanding of Islām.
- Ijāzah Programme – 6 spaces available – online
The Qur’ān Recitation Ijāzah is a supervised and systematic approach to completing the reading of the Qur’ān with proficiency. This program constitutes one-on-one reading with a Qārī. There are no set limits on how many pages are read daily or weekly, this will be determined between the student and the instructor on an individual basis. A sanad (a chain of trustworthy narrators traced back to the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ) is provided upon the completion of the program.
Students are expected to attend:
– 1x 30-45mins Ijāzah session per week, minimum,
– 1x 30min Tajwīd group session, once weekly; or, individual study either after your regular session or a separate 10-15min session.
