I'tikāf at the LMC

Register for I'tikāf

Please use the below form to register for I’tikāf at the LMC. All applications will be considered but the LMC reserves the right to grant applications or reject them where necessary.

Applications are granted with the following conditions:

  • I agree that I’tikāf is for the purpose of worship and rememberance of Allāh Almighty which is how I will spend my time;
  • I will act and behave in accordance with good manners and etiquette;
  • I will not disturb others;
  • I will respect LMC’s Property and will not damage anything in any way;
  • I will respect LMC’s resources including the building’s electricity, water supply and other utilities;
  • I will maintain the building’s tidiness and clean up after myself when using LMC’s facilities;
  • I will respect LMC’s Policies and Procedures;
  • I will be co-operative with LMC’s Representatives and Volunteers;
  • If I use any equipment which belongs to LMC, I will return it as found;
  • LMC reserves the right to expel anyone from I’tikāf if the committee decides they are unfit to remain.

Ifṭār will be arranged; please make arrangements for Suḥūr
